What I Typically Eat

I eat two meals a day (lunch and dinner), and do an "intermittent fast" for the 16 hours between. Despite what you've been told, fewer meals are better.

"Fast"
  • I'll often have coconut oil (a spoonful straight-up, or mixed in coffee/tea) during this to maintain some calories and because of its healthful benefits. Straight-up is the manly way to do it.
  • Cream in coffee, or coconut milk in coffee, too.
Lunch
  • I have scrambled eggs almost every day, usually two whole and two extra yolks, sometimes mixed with cream or coconut milk.
  • I often sprinkle macadamia nuts on them.
  • I often accompany this with dark chocolate (1/4 to 1/2 bar)
  • Alternatives:
    • Leftovers (see "Dinner," below)
    • Burger sans bun
    • Chicken salad (made with canned chicken and my mayo)
    • Egg salad (made with my mayo)
    • Bacon
Dinner
  • I usually have my starches here, though you can have them whenever.
  • Meat plus starch plus (sometimes) vegetable
  • Meat examples:
    • ground beef + spinach + eggs
    • steak of many types
    • meatloaf (no breadcrumbs) or meatballs
    • Pick a fatty meat and go to town.
  • Starch examples
    • white rice (mixed with coconut milk it is very good)
    • baked potato
    • mashed potatoes
    • taro (mashed or in chip form)
    • Brown-rice English muffin
    • Pancake
    • White rice pasta
    • Gluten-free pizza
Snacks

I don't snack much, because I am so awesome, but when I do:
  • Dark chocolate
  • Macadamia nuts
  • Hard-boiled egg
  • Cheese
